Sometime before brazilian carnival, João started to mash up Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Daft Punk with Sergio Mendes, Timbalada, Mocidade school of samba drummers and others crazy mixes that only him can make.
He’s publishing mash ups for the last two years. All the other brazilian producers started to send their tracks, and now they’re a kind of a MASHUPERS!!!!
Brazilian mashups have these characteristics, a local DNA, THEY mix Brazilian culture with global pop, AND WE ALL KNOW HOW IT SOUNDS!!!! JUST WICKED TO THE MAXIMUM LEVEL!!!!!
